Group Home Conversion

This project was a 3,500 square foot residential home converted into an accessible group home. This type of renovation can have its challenges, but our team worked through each of them smoothly. We needed to add in a fire protection system, as well as rated walls and doors, and build two additional bedrooms.
 

Colp Design & Consulting was hired directly by the general contractor to be the project manager. This consisted of scheduling, sending out submittals, ordering materials, coordinating the trades, working with the town on permits and inspections, as well as communicating consistently with the owner.
